Trainees study the
theory, ethics and specialist issues relevant to working
as a counsellor within an agency, group training
supervision, counselling skills practice, and an ongoing
process group. 100 hours minimum of formally-contracted
supervised client-work experience as a volunteer within a
counselling agency is required and evidence of a minimum
of 12 hours of personal counselling hours by end of
programme. you will also attend a compulsory weekend
residential each year.

Specific requirements -
To enrol on this course you should have A Certificate in Counselling Skills (CPCAB award CSK02) and
Certificate in Counselling Studies (CPCAB award CST02) or
equivalent prior learning.
